Though she herself doesn't play games, she will help my gaming habit because she's super generous and awesome.
"There's this game, and it's a new installment in this series, and I really -really- want it; but I don't have the money for it."
"Can you find it at Gamestop?"
"Yeah, it's at Gamestop and where any games are sold-"
"Let's go get it."
"OMG THANK YOU."
I would totally pay for a comic series about the adventures of Gamer Momma and Nerd Girl.
You win like four internets.
someone on tumblr added this: "sure, she’s a real gamer girl and she is defensless in front of a random douche and don’t know how to argue back…seems legit !
"I’ve seen my share of “fake geek girl” shaming" is it so difficult to prove that you ARE a gamer ? no it’s not and it wasn’t, you surely humiliated a bunch of bro gamers at the last comicon and you were FAR from being the victim you claim to be
Stop acting like a victim"
I have to agree a bit. and it's especially annoying because I DO see gamer girls and cosplay girls (mostly the latter though) doing this for attention, even if they do know about the games and stuff.
It was super effective.
